Inquirer reports Parx Casino Sportsbook will open in a temporary lounge area for now as a permanent sports betting area is constructed. If all goes as expected, gamblers in the Philadelphia area will have one more sportsbook to choose from starting next week. This will initiate a two-day soft launch phase during which the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will monitor the proceedings before giving its official seal of approval to Parx Casino Sportsbook.
Parx Casino in Bensalem confirmed today that it will be opening its new sportsbook to the public on Tuesday at 2 PM.
The Philadelphia area is set to see its second sportsbook open for business.
